YOU NEED TO DO
- FIXED STUDY PERIODS (approx. 25 minutes). Develop fixed study periods, no more than 30-40min.
long. Break for 5 min at the end of EACH study period.
- REVIEW class material thoroughly
EVERY WEEK.
- PRIORITIZE ASSIGNMENTS:
Begin with most difficult, and end with least difficult.
- STUDY LOCATION: Choose a study location with no
distractions, and quick access to bathroom.
- SPARE TIME: Never waste time.
During free periods of time, mentally review the theory of your last class
lecture. If notes are at hand, quickly review the lecture TOPIC-HEADINGS
(repeatedly: 5-10 times. This creates a mental framework for the lecture
content.).
- JUST BEFORE CLASS: Quickly browse/review
previous class notes just before each lecture. Pointer: End social engagements
7-10 min. before class to make this more practical.
- DAILY REVIEW: Review all work
covered during the day, at a designated daily study times.
